Airu told me to post more often so I'm really going to try, though warning now: my journal is a bunch of jumbled up crap because I can't really think in a straight line, sorry! So I kinda stuck my foot in my mouth when Arfy asked last time if my school has laptops. XD I kinda blew her off (love ya, beb) only to find today that, woah, we have laptops! Technology teacher is using us to set them up because students aren't good for anything but manual labour. I'm waiting for the installation CD's to be passed over here and, in the meantime, writing and entry. XD The person who had this laptop before me is amazing. windows classic theme and a dark skin on firefox. I love you, whoever you are ♥ Though, at the same time, this scares the hell out of me: to see the school spending all this money on things that the students don't deserve. These will all be broken or stolen: it's only a matter of time. I'll enjoy them while I can.

I really wish I could share some sketches or whatever things with you. I need to get into using this as a sketch blog or something so. . . I'll be interesting for once. XD I'll post again when I get home, I think.
You know, the most amazing thing about using a laptop is this little foot thing in the middle. XD That's what I call it. That little circle that I move the cursor with? Yeah, it's super amazing, no matter what any of you say. I want a laptop just so I can have one of these, screw the touchpad.

Gosh, the first time I tried to submit this journal, the internet died on me! I thought surely it was over! I copypasta'd it though. As much as I love you, LJ, for autosaving drafts, you didn't save it far enough along! XD Oooh I can't wait to get home! I've been skinning my DeviantART chat type window and it's looking quite hawt, if I do say so myself. Can't wait to use it, can't wait~ I'll have to edit it more when I get home and finish it. I hope people I owe art to aren't going to get mad at me. Lately I've been working on a reference sheet for Shinerai so I haven't gotten much done otherwise. ;; It's going to be super cool though, yes.

Actually, I think I'll make an entirely new paragraph to talk about the Shineerai reference sheet! I am so excited about this that I'll be lining it a third time just to make sure it's alright. XD So far there will be four different sheets that are set in stone. Ones after that are kinda floating around as ideas and I'll have to get to them when I can. This hilarious "Shin as your original species" thing is absolutely amazing and it's going to be very fun to customize everyone's ideas and try to make a true Shinerai version of their character, not just drawing his markings onto their design. I'm going to have a great time. This is what I've got so far:

True Sheet: Contrary to popular belief, Shin's normal form isn't a dragon but, rather, a humanoiod. So the "Tue Sheet" will be of his KyaRaian form. I don't know how all this is going to work out because I haven't sketched ideas out for the sheet yet. It'll definitely need to include a turnaround, outfits, Shin's scars, a minibio, wings and anatomies, and a couple other things I can't pull out of my ass like everything else I just added to the list right now. to be completely honest, I haven't even thought about the sheet layout yet, so I'll get to that when I work on it. XD
Given Form: This'll be the Shinerai that everyone knows and loves. his given dragon form. XD So far I have a lateral view (but I have to reline it with a fair amount of changes, face detail, and an anterior view of both. lateral and anterior view of skeleton and a lateral/anterior view of the muscles. I also have a breakdown of the muscles in the chest and back, both superficial and deep but, in actuality, I really have no idea how muscles work so if you crit me on anatomy, I'll kick you in the face >3XM forms:</b> XD This goes with the awesome "Shinerai as your Original Character!" thing which is seeming like a project now. Me and Kilara were talking about his Avian form or something and got to talking about the other races. I'm going to see if I can have Shin as a(n): Avian, Odroth, Undrais, Flytt, Amsk and maybe a Sydrin or Lars. Maybe Shin/Ty lovechiildren, Pietc and Etcpi can be on there lomfaoinsidejoke. Ok uh. . .
Other: I don't know how I'm going to organize the others but the set forms that I can remember off the top of my head (trust me, I looked through so many original species I can't even fathomm having to remember all the names) are MoonBeast, Relk, Xon, Psychoraptor, Lasarian, LoveDragon, and Silenced Lung
Alias: So, Shinerai is more of a character than he is. . . me. However my nickname is still Shin so my persona guy would be a Shin too, right? I got to just calling him Alias. I need to figure out what to do about that. Ryu calls him Shigighann so. . . anyway he's like ME. I think I'll be make a sheet for him in the Shinerai sheet series anyway. The artist! He's a loser (epitome of me) and I usually draw him wearing a swim cap and goggles with a giant fuzzy parca of terror tied around his waist. He's a gamer, likes to eat, and has the yellow pages paper mache'd to his wall. Yep.

Can you tell I'm just rambling on and on to try and take up the whole class period so I won't have to sit here boredly after I finish writing this journal? That's precisely what I'm doing. And I'm sorry you have to suffer through it! Let me think of something else to talk about to help me occupy more idle time. Oh! My ShinXchange thing really was cool. I plan to do it monthly and even made a club account on deviantART for it but not a traditional club in which you have to join; it's free for everyone at the leisure. VenomEye on DeviantART bought a year subscription for the club and I am completely taken aback! This is so amazing it's just. . . . I can't wait to get home so I can skin the journal! >> Haha. Roll call is in two days and there are still plenty of people on the blacklist. I hope they get off of it or they won't be able to participate anymore. This kind of thing sorta makes me nervous now. Like, I really hope that there is enough participation go keep the club running and make it worth Venom's money. Eek.

Anyway, so I guess I'm done talking now. Were about to put the laptops up so I have successfully wasted all of your time! xD I'll make sure and upload some of these pictures to my scrapbook on LJ so I can show you next time! Or I can just post a new entry at home, who knows.

Moro, this is to you. Sorry I didn't see you last night, dove. I was in a foul mood most of the time and, later, I ended up not even really being on the computer anyway. I did get up and I cooked dinner. It made me think of you and how much you love to cook. I was smiling the whole time. I had to go to bed at 11:00 last night but you were in my heart. c: I hope to see you today or maybe I'll call you on Thursday when dad goes back to work if I don't see you by then. I love you so much!
